The original list of active Texas Indy Wrestling Promotions has fallen out of date, so the list found on this page is also no longer totally accurate. Please check the info available on the various webpages/myspace profiles found here to confirm with the actual promotions to determine which are indeed active.
In an effort to better serve the Texas Indy Wrestling community, I have started a new message board www.WrestleTexasForum.proboards.com which will hopefully become a useful tool for Wrestling Fans, Promoters and Workers alike in facilitating the networking within the community. This is a more interactive format which will hopefully encourage numerous individuals in sharing information concerning numerous promotions throughout the state of Texas. Check it out.

Updated List Now Online!
The fine people over at www.myspace.com/texaswrestlingcalendar have updated the list of Active Texas Indy Wrestling Promotions to include shows running beginning February 1, 2010. We therefore have updated this page. Several promotions have fallen off the list due to not having any scheduled shows announced. Those promotions can now be found in the side bar menu under the heading "Currently Inactive Promotions." In their place, a number of new promotions have popped up. You can now find entries for Deep East Texas Rasslin' (also known as Angry Armadillo Productions), Raging Beaver Puroresu (previously known as International Pro Wrestling Alliance), New Breed Wrestling Xtreme (formerly known as Texas Powerhouse Wrestling) and Universal Championship Wrestling (a California owned company running several shows across Texas). The Current List is found at the top of the page and will be updated as promotions currently listed as "Inactive" announce dates. Additionally, Webpage URLs are being updated where needed.

2010 Break Through Promotion Poll
With the recent announcement of the results of the top ten rated indy wrestling promotion in Texas, several promotions appear poised to make a move into that top tier during 2010. As XCW has announced that they will cease operations after this Saturday's show, the is at least one spot available for next year. With that in mind, which of these promotions (rated # 11-20 in 2009) seems most likely to have a break through year in 2010? The results will be announced and discussed during the first indywarzradio show in January.
